So close, and yet so far

Well we now know our regular season will begin April 19.....seems like a long time, but.......we have a field to prepare, funds to raise, uniform order to finish up, hats to order, and thousands of swings yet to take before we are ready.  Please plug in with Dave, Rob or myself and find out what you can do to help prepare us for the season.

Feels good to be back

Over the last few weeks we have been working around basketball schedules to get our work in, but I think we have officially finished all basketball.  Now the focus will be all baseball all the time.  It occurs to me as I watch the indoor workouts, that this will be a fun and focused group.  I have been impressed with the desire to improve that the boys have shown.  Come on weather give us a window to get out and work on our field.

All for one

While we are playing under the umbrella of Gresham Junior Baseball,  we have the freedom for blaze our own trail.    We will be fundraising in force over the next month or so, so we can use any leads you have there.  In addition, we will be taking on many field improvement projects and would welcome your participation.

The Great Indoors

It took some time, but finally the cage has a home.  After spending 1 1/2 years in a 55 gallon garbage can, the Jugs Batting Cage has found a home.  We are lucky enough to have come to an arrangement with River City Sports.  Hopefully this will bring people to Chris's business, and give him the opportunity to offer more services.  As for us, we will be getting in there and working on our swings.  We were there tonight, and I can tell you if there was a cot in the corner Dave/Rob and I might not ever leave......(guess we need more that the one cot).  One of us really needs to win the Powerball.
